Once the OACM signs the nation membership, it is my responsibility to integrate with my team the SOS CP System into the governmental and corporate sector, and to create synergy and close collaboration between all stakeholders. The integration of the SOS CP is like creating an entirely new institutional infrastructure for the government. It's challenging but rewarding, because it generates new modern departments which you are responsible for in terms of education and making them functional. I love this part of the work, especially when you see the long-term effects, results and reactions from nationals and local population. The system integration allows the governments to manage their natural resources much more efficiently, along with the maintenance of the CSMA areas and expansion that constantly produces tangible results and minimises the current plastic content in their coastal areas by hundreds of tonnes or more. I feel like we are connecting the humankind with the ocean, the environment with a unique system which will define the national future development and economic prosperity.
