The numbers of extracted marine debris will indicate the efficiency of the integrated OACM SOS Conservancy Program in governmental and corporate sector. White Flag International consider the EOMD not only as indicator for efficiency for the global ocean plastic extraction plan but as a symbol of hope for the ocean and a

way to promote concrete measures and solutions for long-term success. This method will drastically separate world programs and initiatives in different categories - concrete ones that make a global difference, and those based only on pure greenwashing policy.
