Mr Ivor Zidaric - one of the oldest initiators of the OACM, Guwaa, and SPEED UNIT - is the individual who has been safeguarding the organization since its official launch in Monaco with HSH Prince Albert ll of Monaco and the President Kristijan Curavic. Personal note - for me to see the OACM become one of the largest ocean protection organizations from a passionate group of 15 divers who used to clean the Croatian coastline is an emotional feeling which I can’t describe in words.The complexity, the hard work, the sacrifices and the efforts in building the organization have left many emotional scars on many people, mostly our President who is the professional diver and former free diving champion. This has not been a business for him or me, this has become the life's mission and a way of life and is affecting many other lives too.

Mr Ivor Zidaric's responsibility is safeguarding the internal and external organization functions which will during the Plastic Ocean Summit be the defining moment for the OACM in taking a dominant global position in ocean protection, preservation and coastal certification - cleaning of the oceans, lakes and rivers. We are not very known to the public and that has not been our attention, but the governments are very familiar with our work and the system. Next year we plan to come out more publicly, initiate more work and raise awareness of the global public with a campaign we are developing now.
