Blue Economy Principle

OACM contribution to and promotion of Blue Economy through the global integration and implementation of OACM SOS CP has brought into light an entirely new and modern solution system.

Blue Economy Principle

Each of the OACM’s global projects and initiatives in the countries of operation or CSMA coastal certification areas creates job opportunities, generates economic benefits for host communities, and helps organizations and authorities in managing natural areas for the purposes of tourism industry or conservation. The OACM uses financial means and budgets from its members for operational and technical procedures of the certification in order to employ local residents in areas of CSMA certification so the majority of the budget is being recycled back into the national economy. The certified CMSA areas are the countries’ national and strategic investments which are used to globally promote their natural resources - such as beaches, national parks etc. - to increase the national economic growth in the tourism industry and generate income, which makes the CSMA a concrete example of a blue economy.

The protection of the national natural resources is crucial and essential for the nation's prosperity, sustainable development and global competitiveness, as well as for positioning on the international tourism market. The integration of OACM SOS CP as a part of the blue economy leads the nations into a new era of green future investments while simultaneously solving the ocean pollution problem by integrating blue economy in every aspect of its global business integration.
