Gender equality is intrinsically linked to OACM’s sustainable development and is vital to the realisation of human rights for all. The overall objective of gender equality is a society in which women and men enjoy the same opportunities, rights and obligations in all spheres of life - which is the reason why the OACM hires and employs an equal number of men and women. OACM will play an essential role in not only promoting gender equality but also becoming an excellent example to the young generation due to its global expansion on all continents and an opportunity to be the centre of cultural, religious and traditional aspects of life in its mission to expand the clean ocean areas and create a healthy planet. We in the OACM strongly believe that environmental protection can unite the humankind despite the differences and disputes, and reduce gender inequality, striving toward the common goal which we have clearly set and defined.
