Ocean Guardian program

The OACM’s core environmental ocean preservation program is based on most concrete measures of ocean preservation, protection and physical marine debris and plastic reduction - also called the Ocean Guardian Program - which can be integrated into all corporate future activities.

Ocean Guardian program

Ocean Guardian Program is a part of the OACM SOS CP (Sustainable Ocean Solutions Conservancy Program), connected to White Flag CSMA (Certified SAFE Marine Areas).

Ocean Guardian Program expands the physical CSMA areas globally and creates a safe environment for human, marine and aquatic life.

Corporations that implement the Ocean Guardian Program support financially OACM’s global ocean plastic reduction in the oceans, done by extraction of the plastic and marine debris from the oceans, lakes and rivers.

Ocean Guardian Program is easily integrated into the Corporate CSR which provides the corporations with a proof of concrete measures taken towards the ocean protection, preservation and physical cleaning - which is a basic requirement for OACM corporate membership and platform for creating and developing environmental corporate CSR strategies. The OGP further developed the corporate internal and external communication strategy and the level of the implementation methods for product placement or campaign launch. The OGP uses the created and gathered visual proof from the operational part of the ocean plastic extraction and certification of CSMA process and integrates this into the marketing and communication strategy which in long term boosts the corporate CSR and gives the company a huge exposure advantage over other corporate competitors.

The Ocean Guardian Program has a unique global potential and plays an essential role in contributing to Ocean Heritage ACT, launched to accelerate the ocean preservation initiative and physically reduce the current content of the plastic in the ocean. The global corporate sector integration of the Ocean Guardian Program (OGP), if efficiently done, can be responsible for elimination and extraction of the hundreds of millions of tonnes of plastic from the ocean. OACM strives to create a strong and effective modern alliance with the global corporate sector to achieve its mission in minimising the plastic print in the ocean.
