GEPN & Tourism industry global exposure

GEPN (Global Environment Promotion Network) is the first launched closed circuit promotion system/network in the world that is focused on promoting environmental initiatives among the OACM governmental and corporate sector members who are committed to the ocean protection and environment preservation.

GEPN & Tourism industry global exposure

GEPN system was developed by OACM and White Flag International during a period of 13 years  with the goal to create a global communication platform which would introduce global environmental activities to its stakeholders (OACM members: governments, corporations, world organizations). GEPN is a unique communication tool, globally focused on delivering the environmental information about strategically important events such as world summits, UN summit, Our Ocean - fairs that are focused on the global travel and tourism industry so that OACM members can successfully emphasize the essentials economic growth and prosperity.

As a part of the communication platform, the GEPN system incorporates closed circuit monitors that are used by OACM members to communicate about their environmental activities and initiatives related to public interest, safety and comfort. The GEPN monitors are usually strategically placed at countries' transport infrastructure, in public places, governmental institutions, corporate sectors and public schools.

GEPN Integrated in Government and Corporate Campaigns

GEPN provides local, national and global promotion and exposure for its OACM members in close collaboration with governments, corporations and world organizations. It integrates the OACM membership visual and logo of initiated programs in their existing marketing campaigns. This will strengthen the already launched promotion and marketing campaigns both nationally and globally, initiated by the government or corporate sector. This process contributes to the more efficient national strategy in promoting environmental protection and credibility over long periods of time for OACM members.

OACM - GEPN

Exhibition Booth and Presentation Stand

The OACM has globally integrated the SOS Conservancy Program in governments and corporate sectors - especially when it comes to the global tourism industry. Within the GEPN system, we created a special presentation concept for OACM members that will be presented at major global tourism industry fairs and relevant events.

The OACM GEPN system will have its own exhibition booth and a presentation stand where all OACM members will be presented with unique individually custom-made programs for each nation or corporation. This is a full service for OACM members which is a part of OACM benefits and it does not require any additional financial expense for the members.

The custom-made exhibition strategy will be made in advance in close collaboration between the OACM and its members.

Human Resources - High Level Presentation Team

As part of the GEPN system, the OACM has formed a high level presentation team within its ranks that consists of former presidents, prime ministers, ministers, members of royal families, and the high ranking CEOs and environmentally committed VIPs. These high level individuals are OACM’s most valuable asset in raising global awareness and presenting the OACM values at global international summits and conferences. Some of the international summits such as G7 and G20 conferences, Our Ocean, and UN Ocean Conference will be regularly attended by the OACM high level presentation team.

GEPN's wide range of integrated global and international summits and conferences is crucial to empower the Ocean Heritage ACT which is oriented towards world leaders and governments - decision makers. It is the most important asset for the success of global implementation.

OCEPS - a Part of GEPN

OCEPS - Ocean Communication Education and Promotion System is a part of the White Flag International CSMA (Certified SAFE Marine Area) communication platform used to mark the protected marine areas (physically cleaned and certified). This system has been developed to ensure the conservation and protection of marine areas from negative impact of human population, and includes maintenance of these areas.

The OCEPS signs come in physical form, similar to road signs and information boards strategically located on the actual protected marine areas and up to a few kilometers around the area.

*See White Flag International Catalogue for more info

The signs and information boards are connected to the GEPN System by a QR Code that is located on all OCEPS signs and can be scanned via smartphone. This gives the public access to the GEPN system and all other available digital communication platforms in the system.

Impacting & Educating Mass Tourism and Various Niche Tourism Segments

GEPN communication platform will cover the entire world’s population and will impact and educate people of all ages. The crucial importance of global environmental education is to reduce pollution and change how humankind affects nature and its resources. This will be a significant step in preserving the planet.

The mass tourism industry and the global negative environmental print this industry leaves can be reduced by a united global education system and concrete measures this industry can undertake in close collaboration with OACM by integrating SOS (Sustainable Ocean Solutions) Conservancy Program.

GEPN will affect the tourism industry with its education programs and promotions of already protected environmental resources, natural heritage destinations, local communities, and all OACM member nations with integrated OACM systems.

Its system will integrate education for mass tourism and will have a separate part for niche tourism segments. GEPN's final product is the creation and expansion of CSMA - the global plastic and marine debris extraction will be converted into numbers for OACM SOS Conservancy Program results, shown on EOMD (Extracted Ocean Marine Debris) Scale
