Former UNWTO Secretary General Dr Taleb Rifai with former minister of Tourism of Republic of Croatia Darko Lorencin initiates creation of world largest Certified SAFE Marine Areas in Middle East.CSMA Certified SAFE Marine Areas is an re-introduction of the tourism industry most fundamental service that has been neglected by industry for decades - SAFE areas for human and marine life.
Arab Nations United Ocean Initiative ( ANU7-OI - UAE, KSA, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt, Qatar and Jordan ) is the currently world largest ocean preservation initiative that is deeply integrated in the global tourism industry, aligned with more than 10 UN SDG,s Code of Ethics by UNWTO for sustainable tourism and Arabic nations 2030 vision.
OACM SOS CP System will ensure optimal use of environmental resources that constitute a key element in tourism development, maintaining essential ecological processes and helping to conserve natural heritage and biodiversity. The creation of the 1st regional Middle East Environmental hub will provide all 7 nations better global competitiveness and positioning on the tourism industry marked - OACM Term ( Economic Growth Through Preservation of Environmental Preservation ).
The OACM SOS CP System ( Sustainable Ocean Solution Conservancy Program ) is the world first financially sustainable ocean preservation system easily integrated in the government and corporate sector. This will ensure viable, long-term economic operations, providing socio-economic benefits to all stakeholders that are fairly distributed. The core essence and value is the SOS CP is that addresses the marine pollution physically beneath and above the ocean surface minimising the current plastic print.
Dr Taleb Rifai has taken the necessary crucial step to accelerate the creation and expansion of the CSMA marine areas.OACM in 2023 will launch the same Ocean Initiative in the G7 nations, Small Nation Islands, South America and Africa. The official communication correspondence has been taken directly with the UN Head Quarter in New York of H.E Antonio Guterrez to accelerate thesupport of the process of expansion and integration of the SOS CP system in other UN organisations and agencies.
Creation and expansion of CSMA in Middle East will be the largest ocean clean up in the world focusing on 70% of the plastic and marine debris beneath the ocean surface in reach off the human hand where it does the most damage to marine and aquatic life.OACM believes in the ANU7-OI success due to the preliminary meetings that has been made already in many of the ANU7-OI nations.
"Economy and Environment are the key essentials in creating any kind of sustainability solutions in government or corporate sector which OACM ha managed to incorporate in the core of the SOS CP System."
